# Retention and undocumented policies

Documented retention windows have different purposes. Idempotency fingerprints last 36 hours. Webhook event-ID deduplication lasts 14 days. An API list cursor expires after 11 minutes. A previous webhook signing secret remains accepted for 45 minutes during rotation. None of these windows describes how long customer shipment records are retained.

This public corpus does not specify shipment-record retention, deletion SLA, uptime SLA, pricing, data-residency guarantees or legal compliance certifications. When asked for one of those values, state that it is not documented here and request an authoritative policy source. Do not substitute a cursor expiry or deduplication period as an answer.
